Enough of exercise

I used to exercise!

Not any more. Haa... I know its bad but with the rainy season and all. Yes, that was a lame excuse. Its all about mind over matter I say. If we think we're fit then we are. Care to rebutt anyone? But on a serious note, one should really put in at least 10-20 minutes of exercise regime into their daily routine. Easier said than done!  I came across this website that is easy on the body and its supposed to produce results. Do let me know if you're trying this so we can swop stories.

Alternatively, I could just strap on my Premium Beautiful corset and instantaneously have the flat abs and perky butt! Lets face it, who's got 10 minutes to sweat? I just want to have a sexy shape whenever I need to. I just want to be beautiful in the most premium way possible...can I?

Look!!!

My before picture...ok, it's not very appealing, I know!

My after picture... better right? Notice the muffin tops are missing!

Told you...perky!!!

Am I right or am I right?
Try it...you might like it!!!
I did and I love it!

Hot Red Seminar

I wore red that day!

There were 300 eager young entrepreneurs attending the seminar on 10.11.12. Such a great show of style, strength and seriousness in pursuing their goals. A business opportunity waiting to be grabbed!

Datang dengan penuh stail dan semangat untuk bersama-sama menimba ilmu demi menggapai bintang.

Learning from the best...

I'm a newbie myself but what I took from this experience is the enthusiasm and eagerness to be the best that they can be. You can't help but be inspired by all these young entrepreneurs who definitely want something better for themselves and better yet knows how exactly they want to achieve it. I don't remember if I was this enthusiastic about something when I was in my 20's. Do you think its because we didn't want much at the time? or is it because we want more now? Why didn't I want to obtain incredible income so early in life? Which ever it may be, one things' for sure; I'm following the footsteps of the ones who have been successful. Why reinvent the wheel I say.

Often times we attend some courses and get all charged up but after awhile the fire slowly dies off. Why? This is because there's never been any follow through. That's whats different about today. Much of what we learnt (especially how to obtain incredible income...ha ha) is supposed to be implemented right? but who's checking? Without self discipline, all will be lost. But the good thing about this business opprtunity is that there's always mentors to guide you, to check on your progress and to always be a helpful ear to listen to your silliest whimps and fancies.

That's what I like...

Appreciating Effort

I like receiving gifts!

Especially when it is for a job well done. It is so gratifying to know that your accomplishments have been recognised, no matter how small. Some people say it doesn't matter as long as they know they have done a good job. True. But really, in our heart of hearts it is nice to feel appreciated. It is nice to know that all that hard work pays off; be it personal satisfaction or monetary gains or just plain old ego boost. It's nice to know you are noticed!

Behold a little gift I received from my business coach and mentor for the effort that I put in to accomplish my target. So much so that now I'm enjoying a 5-figure extra income. Hey, no ones gonna hand out any freebies in this world. Everything that we want, we have to work for. Before this I only dared to dream of owning an Emilio Pucci handbag much less a Diane Von Furstenberg Iphone cover. Haaaa.... gone are the days of my trip to Sungai Wang and Petaling street. Pavillion here I come!

My very own! Certainly won't be the last...

Only the best from now on babey!

YOU could be the next proud owner of this too!

One Direction

I looove... One Direction!

That is what my 8 year old daughter has been chanting for the past months. At the time I had no idea what or who they were. Nevertheless after endless plays of "What makes you beautiful", I now know who Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are. My girls obsession is beyond me. They've started insisting on buying teen magazines that come with One Direction posters and biodata. They watch their video clips over and over again. Though I must admit they are quite cute!

Was I ever like this when I was 8? Maybe slightly older perhaps. Wait!, I remember being wildly crazy over Duran Duran, Wham!, Rick Astley, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi and of course Madonna. I remember a time before MP3's were born, we used to copy songs onto cassette tapes and proudly listen to them in our then-cool walkman. The tunes of "Wake me up before you go-go" and "Never gonna give you up" would be among the playlist. Of course, Madonna's fashion trends were mine at the time. Pony tail tied to the side, flair mini's with 3/4 tights. Oh yes, the good old days.

Duran Duran vs One Direction

I do have to admit so long as the songs are of positive influence on my children, I am all for it.

Caution on cancer

I lost Mama to cancer!

Mama battled cancer for the last 4 years of her life. It was so funny how she just went for a full medical check up and was given a clean bill of health. The doctor even said that if she were to ever get cancer, it'd be when she's 80. Whatdayaknow, a month later she was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2. No symptoms; just a quick look in the mirror when she noticed her left breast was sagging more than the right. I laughed when she complained. I said "Ma...you're getting old, of course it's gonna sag." After the doctor confirmed her biopsy, I wasn't laughing anymore.

She fought hard. Went to the best, most rigorous treatment technology could offer. After the mesactomy, Papa spared no expense to go for the highly saught after oncologist and chemo and radiotherapy treatment. We even tried a very costly cyberknife treatment. While all these was going on, Mama also read up on Breuss juicing methods. She drank a lot of fruit and vegetable juices to keep up her anti oxidant level. She began eating organic food, steaming rather than frying her meals. All these helped a bit...but the cancer had spread so fast to her lungs and eventually to her bones; she finally succumbed in 2008.

Redha. That's the word we so lightly use when faced with death. It means you accept wholeheartedly with the decision that Allah has made. One can only redha once we have completely exhausted all avenues of ikhtiar or effort. When we lost Mama, that was the case. We know in our hearts of hearts, both she and everyone around her have exhausted all options plausible, be it scientifically, traditionally and spiritually. There was nothing left to do except doa / pray that Allah gives his blessings on our efforts to heal Mama once and for all or if this was not what HE willed, then to take her in the most kindest way.

There's several moral of the story here...

1.
Never take your health and well being for granted.
Start being conscious of what you consume and how it is being prepared.
You only live once. Better live it right.
2.
You never know what live has to hand out.
Take it with grace and say thank you for all the good times.
For the bad ones, you say thanks for the experience.
3.
We do anything for Love
Family means everything and we do all that we can for them without regret.
We give them the best of everything with the satisfaction of knowing we have tried.
4.
Insure
To ensure that you get the best treatment, you need to buy protection.
To ensure that you have quality of life, you need to eat right before the deases eats you.

Arty Farty Part 1

I'm a hopeless artist!

I can't draw to save my life but I do love art. I've always been fascinated by the talent that some people have. Their ability to create something beautiful with just a few silly strokes of the brush amazes me. Itu lah rezeki dan kelebihan yang Allah beri kepada sesetengah insan. God has blessed some people with the gift of talent. Art is an expressive channel that one can use to visually explain their feelings and even thoughts. To dive into the artists' mind would be an achievement in itself.

I always try to put myself in the artists' shoes and ask "what was his inspiration when he did this?". Most if the time I just go "Wow, thats beautiful".

These are some of what I call "Pucci-inspired" Islamic pieces by Y.Effendi

Bismillah

The part where I never understood was abstact. Most of the time I would be asking "What was he thinking?" and I would be looking at it upside down trying to make sense of his masterpiece. I shall post some of the abstract masterpieces in my next post. In the meantime, tell me what you think of this Islamic modern art.

Bargained Beautiful

I got more than I bargained for!

When my makcik bidan recommended Premium Beautiful to me whilst I was in confinement; I was so excited for the fact that I was told that I will be losing weight faster...but more relieved that I don't have to wear the 6 feet long bengkung anymore. Mana tak nye, I was walking like a mummie and could not even sit properly with that wrap. After one visit to the loo, habis tanggal semua. I wanted something that would support my ever so flabby tummy and yet allowed me the freedom of movement. I got it all by using this Premium Beautiful corset.

I was instantly surprised that by applying the technics on how to wear the corset properly, I instantaneously had big boobs! woohoo!!! Big boobs. Don't play play! When I put on the girdle my butt became alive and perky. I am one happy chick. Needless to say the flabby tummy went out the window the moment I put on the waist nipper and dramatically gave me an hour glass figure. Voila! This yummy mummy is back people...

Ask me how I did it!

Fruits of my labour

I am going to London and Paris y'all!

Last night was the most momentous night of the month. I am finally going to the land of my dreams... Paris, France. It had been a dream of mine eversince I could pronouce the words Bon Jour! correctly to breath the air where fashion lives and fun begins! All thanks to my new found business adventure, I managed to realise my dreams a lot sooner than I can ever imagine. I was given my very first Diane Von Furstenberg Iphone cover together with a gorgeous Pucci wrislet. All for being able to command RM 100,000 sales in just 1 month. Woo hoo! Thanks to the endless support from my mentor SalhaZain for believing that if I put my mind to it; I can achieve greatness.

More on Paris later...
I'm picturing myself right under the Eiffel Tower, jumping like a maniac!
I will go crazy over the hundreds of ice cream flavours they have at Berthillon, one for each day!

Hail Chef Pierre! for his delectable macarons. I'm bringing this one back home!

Top 40 Under 40

I'm so under 40!

We got invited to Le Prestige's Top 40 under 40 event last night. It was a blast! Normally their events would be just cocktails and finger food but this year they've outdone themselves...an actual sit down 4 course meal dinner. We had a nice mix of friendly people at our table; Mr and Mrs Jimmy Sidhu from Sidhu Brothers; Mark Loh of Global Virtual Support, and of course my dearest buds from way back when, Wan Hazreek of Dara Bif.

It's so inspiring to be surrounded by all these talented and successful young entrepreneurs. I'm secretly hoping that it would rub off on me...wait a minute...there's a reason I got invited too...hehehe. Naa, its actually my husband's achievement. He's the Top 40 and I'm the Under 40 bit. :)

One things for sure, I'm so motivated to become as successful as some of these people are. The question now is how...? Oh wise one Ms Pandalela Rinong, should I just dive into doing the business that I love?
